St. Joseph's Healthcare Mental Health and Addiction Program

Did you know that...... Mental illness indirectly affects all Canadians at some time through a family member, friend or colleague.  20% of Canadians will personally experience a mental illness in their lifetime.  Suicide accounts for 24% of all deaths among 15-24 year olds, and 16% among 25-44 year olds

October 4-10, 2015 is Mental Illness Awareness Week in Canada and Station 1 invites you to join us in supporting the mental health of our community. Throughout the entire month of October, we will donate a percentage of our coffee sales to the Mental Health and Addiction program and St. Joseph's Healthcare in Hamilton, which also serves the Niagara residents.

St. Joe's is the regional lead for mental health and addiction care in South Central Ontario. The Hospital serves more than 2 million people including residents of Grimsby, Stoney Creek, Hamilton, Haldimand, Niagara, Norfolk and Brant. From addiction to anxiety, schizophrenia to depression, the experts at St. Joseph's Healthcare Hamilton have you covered. To learn more about their services, visit:
