Outside of his 2X Juno Award winning band Fathead, AL LERMAN has built a solid career touring as an solo blues/roots artist, accompanying himself on acoustic guitar & rack harmonica, as well as performing with the AL LERMAN BAND. Considered among the top harmonica players in the country, his prowess on the instrument has earned him no less than ten Maple Blues Awardnominations in that instrument category. Both his saxophone and harmonica has been heard on countless recordings and live sessions with some of the best in the blues. A full-time musician for over forty years with an impressive catalogue of well crafted songs, Al casts a magical spell on his audience, employing ace musicianship and plenty of heartfelt soul. His latest album "Slow Burn" has been on the Roots Music Radio Charts since it's release in June 2016 and, so far, has placed as high as #4 in the Top 50 Canadian Albums.
